This website presents the artistic work of Leyre Román Puente and offers T-shirts with her images for sale. Purchases are governed by the Terms of sale and personal data by the Privacy policy.

All the works, photographs, videos, texts and other content on this website are the property of Leyre Román Puente, unless otherwise stated, and are protected by intellectual property law. All rights are reserved.

Viewing this website does not grant any licence over its content. Any reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or other use of the works, in whole or in part, by any means, requires her prior written permission. This includes downloading or copying images to publish them elsewhere, to sell them or to use them to train artificial intelligence systems (text and data mining is expressly reserved, under Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790).

Use of the website

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to damage it, interfere with its operation or try to bypass the measures that protect its content.

What data we collect and why

Visiting the website. You can browse this website without giving us any personal data. There are no user accounts, no contact forms, no analytics, no advertising and no social media plugins, and the fonts are hosted on our own server. Like any web server, ours records technical data about each visit (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser) in its logs. We use these logs only to keep the website secure and working, for example to block repeated attempts to break into it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are deleted after a few weeks, unless they are needed to investigate an attack.

Writing to us or placing an order. If you contact us by email or Instagram, or order a T-shirt, we use the data you give us (name, email, phone, delivery address, size and product) to answer you, to process and deliver your order and to handle any return or warranty claim. Legal basis: the steps you ask us to take before a contract and the performance of that contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); when you only send us a question, our legitimate interest in answering it.

Legal obligations. We keep the data of each sale for as long as tax law requires (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

We do not send newsletters or advertising, and we do not use your data to make automated decisions or profiles.

How long we keep it

Messages, for as long as needed to answer you. Order data, while the order and its warranty period are in progress (three years from delivery) and, after that, only for the periods required by law (generally four years for tax purposes). Then it is deleted.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data or give it to third parties, except to the providers we need to run the website and deliver your order, acting on our behalf or as independent controllers:

  • OVH (hosting of the website, servers in the European Union).
  • Google (email service, Gmail), if you write to us by email, and Meta (Instagram), if you write to us there. These services may transfer data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards provided by the GDPR (adequacy decisions, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses).
  • The courier or postal service, if your order is shipped, and Vinted, if you buy through Vinted (under its own privacy policy).
  • Tax authorities and courts, when required by law.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format, by writing to leyreromanp@gmail.com. If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Cookies and local storage

This website does not use advertising, analytics or third-party cookies. It only stores, in your own browser, a few technical preferences that make the website work as you choose, which do not require consent:

  • lr_lang (cookie, 1 year): the language of the website.
  • lrTheme (local storage): whether you chose the light or dark theme.
  • lrAntesala (local storage): the last photo shown on the home page, so that the next visit shows a different one.

None of them identify you or are shared with anyone. You can delete them at any time from your browser settings.

Terms of sale

Seller

The products on this website are sold by Leyre Román Puente, whose details are given in the Legal notice above.

These terms apply to purchases made through this website, by email or through Instagram. Purchases made on Vinted are also subject to Vinted’s own terms. By placing an order you accept these terms, which you can save or print.

Products

The T-shirts are made in small runs from the artist’s own works. Each product page shows its main features, available sizes and price. Colours may look slightly different on screen, and small variations in the print are part of how they are made and are not a defect.

Prices

Prices are in euros and include all applicable taxes. Shipping costs, if any, are shown on the product page or before you confirm the order and are added to the price. Hand delivery in Bilbao is free.

How to order

Choose the product and size and press «Order»: this opens an email with the details. We will reply to confirm availability, the total price, the delivery method and how to pay. The contract is concluded when you accept that confirmation and pay. We will then send you a confirmation of the purchase.

Orders can be placed in English or Spanish.

Payment

The available payment methods are those indicated in our confirmation (for example, bank transfer, Bizum or cash on hand delivery).

Delivery

We deliver by hand in Bilbao, at an agreed place and time, or ship within the countries indicated on the website, usually within 2 to 7 working days of payment (at the latest within 30 days). If we cannot deliver within the agreed time, we will let you know and you may cancel the order and get a full refund. Please check the parcel on delivery and tell us about any damage as soon as possible.

Right of withdrawal (14 days)

If you are a consumer and bought at a distance (by email, Instagram or online), you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or someone you indicate, receive the product.

To withdraw, send us a clear statement (for example, an email to leyreromanp@gmail.com) before the period ends. You may use the model form below, but it is not compulsory.

We will refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving your statement, using the same payment method you used, unless you agree otherwise; you will not be charged any fee. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product back or you have shown that you sent it. You must return the product within 14 days of telling us, to the address we give you or by hand in Bilbao. You will bear the cost of returning it. You are only responsible for any loss in value caused by handling the product beyond what is needed to check its nature, characteristics and fit (try it on as you would in a shop; please do not wash or wear it).

Legal guarantee

As a consumer, you are entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity for three years from delivery, under the Spanish Consumer Protection Law (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007). If a product is defective or not as described, write to us and we will repair or replace it or, if that is not possible, give you a price reduction or a refund, at no cost to you. Normal wear and damage caused by misuse or by not following the care instructions are not covered.

Complaints

For any question or complaint, write to leyreromanp@gmail.com; we will reply as soon as possible and within one month at the latest. If we cannot reach an agreement, you may contact the consumer services of your local authority or the Basque Consumer Institute (Kontsumobide, www.kontsumobide.euskadi.eus).

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of the consumer’s place of residence.
